Why is it necessary to use a condenser in a steam powerplant?
The steam condenser in a steam power plant is used to convert the exhaust steam from the turbine into water. so that the condensed water can be used again as the feed water. It also reduces the pressure (below atmospheric pressure) at the exit of the turbine, and this creates a space for the exhaust steam to come out from the turbine.
